  • Professional planning by an architect and telecom expert of: telecom halls, NMCC or NOC rooms; and satellite antenna fields. This allows best utility of space and facilities.


    • It is advised to plan telecom facilities with great care: For example, once installed, it is not really practical to shift a big earth station from one location to another, considering all the services such system carries and the prolonged outage needed. As all geostationary satellites are positioned on Clark's belt, seen as an arc from the earth, optimizing an antenna field should be done with great care, considering the construction strength and allowing versatile looking angle, cable run and acceptable access by staff. Even when conditions are simpler and only one dish is involved, it is advised planning will be carried out by professionals, otherwise, great time and resources can be wasted by choosing the wrong location for the dish.
